Telus, Medio team on mobile search

Telus is employing a mobile search solution from Medio Systems to let subscribers search for such mobile content as ringtones, wallpapers and more. This is in response to the often tiresome process of searching through a variety of aggregators to find the content you want.

Mobile search is a hot topic these days, and it makes sense to start first not with the ability to search for physical locations, but to search for content available either on or off the carrier deck. First, it acclimates users to the search interface and second, helps users find the content they want much easier and faster.
