Tetherball teams with Qdoba on mobile rewards program
Mobile loyalty and rewards solutions provider Tetherball announced an agreement with Mexican fast-casual franchise Qdoba to launch a mobile version of the restaurant chain's existing customer loyalty program. According to Tetherball, its customizable, permission-based mobile marketing platform enables brands to interact with consumers via text messaging, requiring no additional software downloads or mobile data plans, noting that its loyalty programs have experienced up to 24 percent redemption rates on initial opt-in offers followed by 10 percent redemption rates on proceeding offers. By comparison, traditional print and online coupons boast redemption rates under two percent. The Qdoba Mobile Rewards initiative launched at a recent Indianapolis-area market festival--according to Qdoba, nearly 20 percent of festival attendees engaged the program.
