Third Screen, Smaato partner on mobile ads
Third Screen Media announced a strategic partnership with fellow mobile advertising provider Smaato to sell, manage and deliver advertising for Smaato's Open Mobile Advertising Platform and its turnkey in-application advertising solution to agencies and brands in the U.S. According to Smaato and Third Screen, the partnership will specifically target the growing smartphone segment; SOMA-supported applications soon coming to market include iambic TopStory, SplashNews and Smaato News.
"We are thrilled to add the SOMA platform to our publisher portfolio," said Third Screen Media CMO Jeff Janer in a prepared statement. "This added reach to predominantly smartphone users will help our agency clients and brands target a very attractive consumer demographic via the mobile channel."
