Thumbplay inks mobile content deal with ARTISTdirect
Mobile entertainment destination Thumbplay announced a premium content partnership with online entertainment news and information resource ARTISTdirect Internet Group. Per terms of the agreement, Thumbplay will power links to its mobile content catalog on hundreds of thousands of artist pages throughout the ARTISTdirect website, which presently features free music from more than 10,000 music videos and 7 million albums, tracks and samples. The site--which also features millions of artist pages, behind-the-scenes interviews, reviews and exclusive news content--attracts more than 12 million unique visitors per month, while the Thumbplay mobile website now generates more than 12 million page views monthly.
