Thumbplay inks mobile music deal with Billboard.com
Mobile entertainment destination Thumbplay announced an agreement with Billboard.com to offer the music news website's visitors direct access to digital content. Per terms of the exclusive deal, Thumbplay will supply links to mobile music previews and downloads for all chart and artist pages across the Billboard.com site--the firms add the agreement will span current chart hits as well as perennial favorites dating back several decades. Thumbplay's content partners include all four major labels: EMI Music, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group.
