Thumbplay inks wallpaper deal with Photobucket

Mobile entertainment destination Thumbplay announced an agreement with image and video sharing website Photobucket to launch a new two-click send-to-mobile service enabling users to customize their handsets with photos sent from their Photobucket albums. For $1.99, consumers may download any image they've posted on Photobucket as a wallpaper--all photos are optimized according to the device's specific screen size and resolution. Thumbplay's services support more than 2,000 mobile handsets.
