Thumbplay palms $15M in funding, credit

Off-portal content delivery service Thumbplay landed $15 million in funding through a $10 million Series C round, led by Bain Capital Ventures and an additional $5 million line of credit with SVB Silicon Valley Bank. The company said it will use the funds to accelerate and expand its already rather aggressive marketing efforts.
