Tira licenses Jump platform to Superscape

Mobile content solutions provider Tira Wireless announced 3D mobile games publisher Superscape has licensed its Tira Jump 2007 Platform to accelerate porting, optimization and deployment of its titles across multiple handsets. According to Tira, the deal enables Superscape to standardize deployment for new games created in-house and by third-party publishers via the Developer Desktop, an integrated console within the Tira Jump Platform that enables the transformation and optimization of a game's original source
code to facilitate more efficient deployment to mobile handsets profiled in the Tira Wireless device knowledgebase.

"Of all the steps required to bring new titles to market, porting is the one process that entails the greatest complexity and cost," said David Brittain, Superscape VP of technology. "Tira Wireless provides us with technology that enables us to standardize our approach to porting, regardless of whether we use internal or external development teams to create our applications."
