Universal DVD extras go mobile

Universal Studios Home Entertainment announced plans to preview DVD bonus materials via the mobile platform. AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile USA subscribers may now download video supplements from upcoming DVD sets spotlighting the NBC primetime favorites The Office and Heroes--the shortcode-based promotion runs through August 25. The strike-shortened season two of Heroes hits DVD on Aug. 25, with the abbreviated fourth season of The Office following on Sept. 2.
