Universal taps Minick for mobile web services

Interactive mobile applications and infrastructure solutions provider Minick announced an agreement to build and manage mobile film portals for Universal Pictures. According to Minick, the partnership promises to complement the studio's existing mobile operator distribution via fully-hosted sites and partner portals with access to information about upcoming Universal films and DVDs as well as promotional downloads, premium content and affinity programs. Universal and Minick will begin launching the interactive WAP destinations in the fourth quarter.
