Univision Video App expands to BlackBerry

Spanish-language media titan Univision Communications announced its new Univision Video App is available for download via BlackBerry App World, promising BlackBerry smartphone users access to top-rated network programs spanning categories including news, entertainment, sports, horoscopes and special events. The free BlackBerry app was developed in conjunction with mobile media firm GoTV Networks.

The Univision network is available across most of the U.S., with local stations in more than 50 markets. According to research cited by the network, over 5 million U.S. Hispanics own a smartphone, representing more than one in five mobile video viewers.
