UpSNAP teams with "The Sporting News" on mobile audio

Mobile search and streaming audio developer UpSNAP announced a partnership with the venerable sports media brand "The Sporting News" to deliver on-demand wireless audio broadcasts featuring Sporting News Radio personalities including NFL Hall of Famer/Fox Television analyst Troy Aikman. Sporting News Radio is a 24-hour network that broadcasts live on terrestrial and satellite outlets including Boston's WWZN, Los Angeles' KMPC, Chicago's WSCR and XM Sports Nation Channel 143; on-air talent also includes James Brown, host of CBS Television's pre-game show "The NFL Today," and veteran play-by-play commentator Tim Brando.

In related news (albeit spotlighting fake sports), World Wrestling Entertainment announced new mobile content agreements with European carrier Orange and Portuguese multimedia producer and distributor Heylife.
