uVuMobile, Action Engine ink content deal

Mobile media solutions provider uVuMobile announced a licensing agreement with on-device portal solutions developer Action Engine to provide media companies and wireless operators an integrated multimedia services platform enabling advertising-enabled on-demand mobile video and audio content. According to uVuMobile, its flexible and scalable streaming multimedia platform provides for advertising insertion including pre-roll, mid-roll, and post roll video commercials. "Through this partnership, Action Engine will be able to deliver its customers streaming media and video advertisements and services across a wide variety of devices," said uVuMobile president and CEO Bill Loughman in a prepared statement. "This agreement also makes Action Engine the first company to integrate streaming video, mobile advertising and on-device portal technology into a single platform, offering a single source for delivering, managing and monetizing mobile multimedia services for its customers."
