V-Enable launches FreeMobile411 app on Sprint
Local mobile search and directory assistance services provider V-Enable announced a full-featured, downloadable Java version of its voice-enabled FreeMobile411 application is now available to Sprint subscribers. FreeMobile411 enables users to speak what they are looking for by holding their handset's talk key, with the results displayed onscreen in seconds. V-Enable promises access to 140 million residential and 14 million business listings as well as maps, driving directions, nearby businesses nearby and related services, including an operator-connect option, all for free. "There are several mobile and voice-based services that can help find listings, get maps, driving directions and see what's nearby, but none of the services bring it all together, with the touch of a live operator," said V-Enable executive VP and chief marketing officer Craig Hagopian in a prepared statement.
