V-Enable snags voice-based mobile search patent
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted V-Enable a patent for voice-based mobile search techniques that allow users to request content using voice and text interfaces. The company says it is the first to receive a voice-based search patent. The patent also includes the processes for using voice, text or a combination of both for data request over mobile networks.
