VC: Juice Wireless secures $1M from Citizens

Juice Wireless has secured $1 million in a strategic investment from Citizens Communications Company. The financing comes close on the heels of a $4 million round last month. CCC offers telephone, television and Internet products and services in rural areas and small towns around the U.S. under the name Frontier Communications Solutions. Juice said it will use the money to market its latest version of the JuiceCaster, which it describes as a "cross-platform, device-agnostic solution for multimedia content creation, sharing and social networking for all types of content."
