Velti acquires mobile advertising firm Media Cannon

Mobile marketing and advertising solutions provider Velit announced its acquisition of mobile ad tools and technology developer Media Cannon. Financial terms were not disclosed. According to Velti, Media Cannon brings with it a complementary technology platform and proprietary solutions promising to enhance the mobile user experience and deliver new post-click interactive possibilities. Key features of the Media Cannon platform include API access, transcoding, campaign support and reporting tools, delivery and evaluation. Velti adds it will integrate the complete Media Cannon management team and staff into its San Francisco office.
