VeriFone may ramp up acquisitions to $1B a year
VeriFone Systems CEO Douglas Bergeron said the payment solutions provider may spend as much as $1 billion annually as it seeks acquisitions to expand its footprint in data services and the emerging markets sector. VeriFone will likely make one acquisition valued between $500 million and $700 million each year, along with several additional transactions between $10 million and $20 million.
