Verizon launches V Cast Video across Android smartphones
Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) announced its V Cast Video service is now available across the operator's portfolio of Android
smartphones, including the Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Eris and LG Ally. According to Verizon, V Cast Video now features more than 230 full-length programs following recent content provider additions like A&E, Lifetime and V-me--in addition, the service will offer live streaming Spanish-language broadcasts of all 64 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer matches via Univision Interactive Media. V Cast Video is available for $10 per month in addition to a smartphone data plan.
