Verizon Wireless and mobile TV service provider MediaFLO USA announced the operator's V Cast Mobile TV will broadcast more than 100 live, full-length NCAA football games including contests from the Big 12, the SEC and the Pac-10. V Cast Mobile TV will broadcast games on channels including CBS Mobile, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile and NBC 2Go--ESPN Mobile alone will air more than 75 games as well as up to 20 bowl match-ups. NBC 2Go will contribute seven Notre Dame contests, while CBS Mobile will counter with up to 38 games, among them the Sun Bowl and the Gator Bowl.

Looking ahead at the schedule, FierceMobileContent recommends:

  • Georgia Tech at Notre Dame (September 1, NBC 2Go)
  • Florida State at Clemson (September 3, ESPN Mobile TV)
  • Virginia Tech at LSU (September 8, ESPN Mobile TV)
  • Tennessee at Florida (September 15, CBS Mobile)
  • Florida at LSU (October 6, CBS Mobile)
  • USC at Notre Dame (October 20, NBC2Go)

All programming is subject to change and blackouts. "Our FLO TV service is perfect for the sports fan," said Michael Boyd, MediaFLO USA VP of licensing and research. "Nothing beats the excitement and rivalry of college football, and for the first time, you won't have to miss a snap, even if you are away from the TV."
