Verizon screens Tribeca Film Festival content

Tools

For the second consecutive year, Verizon Wireless announced it will offer exclusive video from the annual Tribeca Film Festival via the V CAST Video service, taking place now in New York City. Verizon Wireless will deliver trailers, celebrity interviews, red carpet footage and short films, including three shorts commissioned exclusively for the operator. The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by actor Robert DeNiro and producer Jane Rosenthal in an effort to celebrate New York City as a filmmaking center and to contribute to the recovery of lower Manhattan following the events of 9/11--highlights of this year's programming include premieres of the Wachowski brothers' Speed Racer and the Tina Fey/Amy Poehler comedy Baby Mama as well as a restored edition of the Sergio Leone classic Once Upon a Time in the West.
