Verizon, Viva Vision debut Car and Driver SlideShow

Verizon Wireless announced an agreement with mobile entertainment provider Viva Vision to launch the Car and Driver SlideShow, a new GetItNow SlideShow application featuring automotive photography from Car and Driver magazine. Produced by Viva Vision, the interactive Car and Driver application is the first SlideShow app available to Verizon subscribers; featuring more than 100 auto images each month, the photos will spotlight new autos featured in the traditional print magazine, packaged in a series of SlideShow categories like Concept Cars, Editor's Picks, Hot Cars, and Luxury Cars. Subscribers may pause, rewind and fast-forward each SlideShow, as well as vote on and save favorite images. All content is refreshed twice weekly. Car and Driver SlideShow is available now on close to 50 Verizon handsets for $4.49 per month. "Viva Vision is taking still images to the next level with SlideShows," said Verizon Wireless VP of digital programming Ryan Hughes in a prepared statement. "We think our customers will enjoy the refreshing format."
