Verizon announced an agreement with the Disney/ABC Television Group to bring full-length episodes of ABC primetime series as well as content from Disney-owned sports media giant ESPN to Verizon Wireless V Cast Video and Mobile Web customers. According to Verizon, the deal to distribute on-demand, full-length episodes complements the operator's existing pact to offer short-form content from ABC and ESPN--alongside scripted programs like Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy and Lost, the partnership also spans ABC News productions including Nightline, World News with Charles Gibson and 20/20 as well as Disney Channel favorites such as Hannah Montana, The Suite Life on Deck and Phineas and Ferb.

All full-length episodes will be available on demand to V Cast Video subscribers the day after their broadcast television premiere. As for ESPN content, the new Verizon/Disney deal encompasses expanded programming short news clips and other sports-related efforts. In addition, the companies said Verizon subscribers will have easy access to a variety of ESPN and Disney/ABC Television Group mobile websites.
