Verizon Wireless announces a content trifecta

Tools

Verizon Wireless announced a trio of content-related news, touching on the areas of music, games and video. The carrier introduced a ringtone, wallpaper, and screensaver personalization service with their Sonic DJ function, which is actually a pretty cool little feature. It also unveiled a bevy of games from Vivendi Universal Games, including Black Hawk Down, Empire Earth, Flying Toaster, Red Baron and SWAT Force. Finally, Verizon kicked off a fantasy football deal that allows subscribers to access their CBS Sportsline Fantasy Football league accounts from their phone to view lineups, get scoring updates and chat with other players.
