Verizon Wireless to debut live college football broadcasts

Tools

Verizon Wireless announced it will offer VCast Video subscribers a slate of live college football broadcasts in association with ESPN Mobile TV. Verizon and ESPN will stream regular season matchups from conferences including the ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-10 and SEC--marquee attractions include UCLA vs. Tennessee this Saturday, as well as Utah vs. Oregon on Sept. 19.

According to Verizon, new subscribers with VCast-enabled feature phones can add V Cast Video for $10 per month--the new VCast Video on Demand plan replaces the $15 V Cast VPak. The operator adds these changes will not impact existing customers.
