Verizon Wireless debuts exclusive Green Day live set

Verizon Wireless announced an agreement with Reprise Records to stream an exclusive Green Day live performance spotlighting songs from the punk-pop trio's forthcoming album 21st Century Breakdown. Available all day May 7 and again in its entirety May 15, the day 21st Century Breakdown is released, the video captures Green Day's April 24 performance at Oakland's Studio 880; Verizon V Cast subscribers can check out the continuous video stream anytime today--the video will start at its beginning whenever consumers click "play."

21st Century Breakdown is Green Day's first studio album since 2004's Grammy-winning American Idiot, which debuted at number one on the Billboard chart and generated five hit singles on its way to selling more than 12 million copies worldwide. "Know Your Enemy," the first single from 21st Century Breakdown, currently tops Billboard's Modern Rock Chart.
