Verizon Wireless does the Limbo
Verizon Wireless announced an agreement with mobile entertainment firm Limbo 41414 to launch "The Limbo Show," what the carrier is calling the first original game show developed specifically for the mobile platform. According to VZW, "The Limbo Show"--created by former Endemol USA execs Elizabeth Sherman and Janelle Fiorito--combines pop culture and current events with "Limbo Auctions" enabling V Cast subscribers to win prizes via text messaging. In addition, Verizon will institute Limbo Loot, a customer loyalty program that rewards subscribers for each "Limbo Auction" bid placed; users may accumulate and exchange their Loot for prizes like ringtones and related mobile content.
