Verizon Wireless launches Jonas Brothers promotion

Forward this article to your 12-year-old niece: Verizon Wireless announced a partnership with teen-pop heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers that promises fans a chance to play kickball with the trio. According to Verizon, Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 concertgoers who create green-screen videos at the Verizon/LG booth or submit their clips to the V Cast Live website will be entered to win--V CAST Live members will vote on the submissions, naming five weekly winners. The Jonas Brothers will select the grand prize winner from those five, and invite the winner and nine friends and family members to compete against the group in kickball. The other four weekly winners and one guest each will also be flown to the game to compete in a second game.

In tandem with the contest, Verizon said it will offer exclusive Jonas Brothers content via its V Cast Music and V Cast Music with Rhapsody services, touting full-track downloads, ringtones and ringbacks including the siblings' latest single, "Paranoid."
