Verizon Wireless launches V Cast Media Manager

Verizon Wireless announced the introduction of V Cast Media Manager, a new tool developed to help subscribers manage their photos, videos and music between mobile devices and PCs. Powered by mobility solutions provider Smith Micro Software's QuickLink Media product, V Cast Media Manager (in tandem with a USB cable) enables Verizon customers on phones including the LG enV Touch and Samsung Alias to move user-generated photos and videos and unprotected music files from their handsets to their computers, allowing for subsequent transfer to new handsets when subscribers upgrade.
