Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ) quietly introduced V Cast Media Manager, a cloud-based media storage solution offering subscribers anytime/anywhere access to their content via the web or any compatible mobile phone. V Cast Media Manager pricing starts at $2.99 per month for 25GB of storage, with the corresponding mobile app included free with an online storage subscription--according to Verizon Wireless, subscribers can upload and backup their files for subsequent web or mobile download; organize music and video playlists, photo albums and folders; share user-generated, non-copyrighted media with family and friends; post files to Facebook or MySpace; and print favorite photos.

Verizon Wireless currently offers 11 V Cast Media Manager-compatible phones, including the Motorola Droid, the BlackBerry Storm2 and Samsung Fascinate. The operator said it will continue expanding support to new and existing phones on a regular basis.
