Verizon Wireless updates VZ Navigator

Verizon Wireless announced availability of version 4 of its VZ Navigator location-based application, promising subscribers in 75 U.S. markets information on traffic incidents, commuter updates and detour tips as well as 3D maps, a movie and events finder, weather reports and gas pricing data. According to Verizon, VZ Navigator's updated data spans over 750,000 miles of roads in 48 states, with traffic tracking continually monitoring conditions along a driver's route, sending alerts as changing conditions demand and suggesting detour options. VZ Navigator (Version 4) is available now for $9.99 for unlimited monthly access or $2.99 for one-day use on select Get It Now-enabled handsets.
