Verizon Wireless' (NYSE:VZ) V Cast Video service will add programming from cable networks Disney XD and ABC Family in conjunction with a new longterm, multi-platform agreement that broadens the relationship between parent firm Verizon Communications and the Disney & ESPN Media Networks Group. V Cast Video will add signature programming from Disney XD and ABC Family later this year, with Verizon's FiOS bundled home communications service slated to add new services including ESPN Goal Line (a college football super-highlight channel including live game look-ins), ESPN 3D and Disney Junior. The partnership also touts new authenticated services enabling FiOS TV subscribers to watch ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Buzzer Beater live online on their PC or via connected devices like tablets.

Disney XD is a Disney Channel spinoff focusing on animated and live-action programming for children; the network features original series like Aaron Stone and Zeke & Luther, as well as reruns. Sister network ABC Family broadcasts contemporary, all-ages programming spanning from off-network syndicated reruns and original series to feature films and made-for-cable original movies, highlighted by the hits The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Pretty Little Liars.
