Verve, Associated Press team for white-label app publishing
Mobile publishing technology provider Verve Wireless announced it will team with the Associated Press to deliver white-label mobile application solutions enabling publishers to launch customized, branded applications across the iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, webOS and Windows Mobile operating systems. Based on the AP Mobile platform, the Verve/AP White Label App Solution offers publishers a host of features including application registration, secured content delivery, sharing via social media networks, photo and video galleries, localization tools and advertising options. The solution promises to address the expense and time constraints typically associated with building, hosting, maintaining and upgrading cross-platform mobile applications, enabling publishers to streamline operations under one vendor and standardize content presentation, usage metrics and advertising delivery.
According to the Associated Press, the AP Mobile news network application is now closing in on 2.5 million downloads. It generates more than 55 million pageviews per month.
