Virgin Mobile spreads messaging via 3jam SMS 2.0

Virgin Mobile USA announced the debut of 3jam SMS 2.0, a free messaging service that enables group text communications with friends and family. According to Virgin Mobile, the service--launched in association with SMS services developer 3jam--heralds the first multi-party text initiative to appear on a U.S. operator deck. 3jam SMS 2.0 enables Virgin Mobile subscribers to text any number of contacts simultaneously, making the list of recipients available to everyone on the mailing list--subsequent replies will go to everyone on the list as well. Standard text messaging rates apply.
