Virgin Mobile UK inks search exclusive with Yahoo

Virgin Mobile UK announced it will feature mobile web search services powered exclusively by Yahoo when its new, enhanced mobile portal goes live on Dec. 8. Yahoo oneSearch promises Virgin subscribers relevant news, financial information, weather conditions, Flickr photos, travel information and Wikipedia data, with related ringtones, wallpapers, games and other premium content offers included within search results. The MVNO's parent firm, Virgin Media, and Yahoo will team to deliver sponsored search results and contextually served sponsored listings.
