Virgin Mobile USA intros free festival videos

Virgin Mobile USA announced the launch of Virgin Mobile Festival's 2008 Streaming Videos, featuring free performances from the all-star live event the operator mounted in Baltimore this past August. According to Virgin Mobile USA, the video clips--sponsored by Ford Sync--represent the first performances from a major festival available via the mobile platform, with content including performances from Iggy Pop, KT Tunstall, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, and Rodrigo Y Gabriela. The free clips will be available through Dec. 31.
