Virgin Mobile USA names Bob Stohrer CMO
Virgin Mobile USA announced the resignation of longtime CMO Howard Handler, with the MVNO naming VP of brand and integrated marketing Bob Stohrer his replacement. Both Handler and Stohrer joined Virgin Mobile USA at the company's 2003 launch--Stohrer previously served as vice president and creative director at National Football League Properties. "Howard has been one of the key architects of Virgin Mobile USA, helping to guide and shape many aspects of the company over the last five years," said Virgin Mobile USA CEO Dan Schulman in a prepared statement. "I wish him the very best of luck in the next phase of his career."
