Visa introduces Android mobile payment app

Payment and credit solutions Goliath Visa announced its Visa Mobile payment services are now operational across devices powered by Google's Android operating system. According to Visa, the Android application will enable select Chase Visa cardholders to receive notifications about transaction activity on their accounts, receive merchant offers and employ integrated Google mapping technology to discover participating retailers or ATMs that accept Visa. Merchants supporting Visa Mobile's Android launch include Bonefish Grill, eMusic.com, Jos. A. Bank, Lenovo, Overstock.com and Planet Hollywood. Visa adds its credit and debit cardholders will enjoy exclusive access to the Android application for a limited time.
