The Wall Street Journal introduces Mobile Reader

Tools

Business and financial news and analysis provider The Wall Street Journal Digital Network announced the launch of WSJ.com Mobile Reader, a new mobile application promising immediate access to financial coverage from The Wall Street Journal website as well as MarketWatch.com, Barrons.com and AllThingsD.com. The free, customizable app--presently optimized solely for Research In Motion's BlackBerry platform--was developed via the FreeRange Communications Mobile Publishing Platform and features news headlines and summaries as well as automatic content updates--in addition to content tabs spotlighting features like What's News, Tech, Opinion and Columns and more, WSJ.com Mobile Reader users may create personalized category lists and add news categories, news sources, keyword alerts and customized stock quotes. Subscribers may also access headlines, article summaries and previously downloaded stories outside of wireless coverage, and share articles via social networking sites.
