Wmode acquires ProvisionX from Glu Mobile

Wmode, which provides mobile content managed services under its ClearMode brand, announced the acquisition of third-party mobile games delivery platform ProvisionX from gaming publisher Glu Mobile. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed; East Peak Advisors offered Wmode counsel on the transaction.

Serving carriers and media companies in Asia, South America and Europe, ProvisionX is a complete end-to-end mobile gaming sourcing, management and delivery solution. "The acquisition of ProvisionX strongly complements our current services by offering a dedicated gaming platform in high-growth markets and expanding our reach in key Asian, Latin American and European markets," Wmode CEO Emanuel Bertolin said in a prepared statement.
