WPP invests in JumpTap
Global advertising and communications services group WPP announced a strategic investment in mobile search and advertising services developer JumpTap. Financial terms were not disclosed, although Marketing Week reports WPP acquired a 2.5 percent stake in the Massachusetts-based startup. According to WPP, the investment will offer clients access to mobile search and advertising platforms; WPP and JumpTap will also partner on new mobile consumer targeting and profiling services, as well as develop case studies for brands planning mobile marketing initiatives.
