WWE unveils slate of mobile content with Bango

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has followed up with its CTIA SMS alert teaser offering with a whole slate of original mobile content power by Bango. The WWE plans to make the content available off-deck to "users on all networks worldwide." The company plans to refresh the portal with 75 new videos per month with an additional 70 videos a month of premium content. Each made-for-mobile video will range from 2 minutes to 5 minutes in length and "will work across thousands of handsets deployed around the world." Bango is supplying the WWE its Direct-to-Consumer Technology, which allows users to browse content and then buy via their phone bill, credit/debit card or PayPal. The content includes WWE Mobile News daily, Q&As with wrestling legends, highlights from WWE matches and Diva Shorts--videos of the women of WWE three times a week.
