Yahoo mobile search expands across Asia Pacific

Web services giant Yahoo announced nine new mobile search partnerships with operators across the Asia Pacific region as well as the availability of a Chinese-language Yahoo Go 2.0 mobile web platform for Taiwanese consumers. Yahoo's new operator partners include Indian providers Aircel Limited, BPL Mobile and Bharat Sanchar Nigam, Malaysia's DiGi Telecommunications, Indonesian carriers PT Excelcomindo Pratama, PT Hutchison CP Telecom and PT Indosat, Hong Kong-based PCCW Mobile HK Limited and Singapore's Starhub Ltd. Yahoo now boasts partnerships with more than 80 mobile operators in 40 countries.
