Zamano acquires Eirborne

Mobile content and services provider Zamano announced its acquisition of rival content provider Eirborne Text Promotions. The deal is worth a potential €8.5 million, including an initial €1.7 million cash and stock payment and deferred consideration based primarily on a maximum multiple of five times the EBITDA achieved by Eirborne in the year ahead. Zamano acquires Eirborne's music, video, comedy and game content catalog, which serves over 100,000 subscribers in the UK, Ireland and Australia via the company's D2C site. In addition, Eirborne licenses Zamano's messaging and delivery applications.
