Zed acquires Mobitween

Mobile entertainment firm Zed announced its acquisition of Adobe Flash-based mobile games developer and publisher Mobitween. Financial terms were not disclosed. Mobitween brings with it a product portfolio spanning more than 100 in-house titles and distribution partnerships with operators in 53 countries, among them Verizon Wireless and Orange--the firm's Flash Lite mobile gaming portals replicate web browsing models, enabling gamers to play, rate, share and post high scores.
