Zed taps DeviceAnywhere for mobile content testing

Mobile application development solutions provider DeviceAnywhere announced an agreement with mobile entertainment provider Zed to improve the firm's content development efforts worldwide. DeviceAnywhere said the companies will collaborate to reduce the testing complexities and costs associated with Zed's business, offering developers remote access to a real-time, web-based testing service spanning 2000 devices across 30 different operator networks in the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Spain. DeviceAnywhere adds its testing solutions have also improved Zed's customer relations management by enabling representatives to more effectively troubleshoot issues within the organization's content delivery system. According to Zed, it now boasts operations in 54 countries and agreements with over 130 mobile carriers.
