Zumobi expands to BlackBerry platform

Mobile UI development firm Zumobi announced the launch of its first application for Research In Motion's BlackBerry devices. The widget product promises to enhance the BlackBerry user experience by delivering efficient access to "bites" of customized web content including news, sports, weather, entertainment and games. Users may also create their own personalized widgets via Zumobi's Tile Creation Wizard; in conjunction with the BlackBerry launch, industry weblog BlackBerry Cool will debut its own branded Zumobi Tile to extend its news and reviews to the mobile platform.
