Exactly one year ago Friday, Japanese publisher GungHo Online Entertainment launched  Puzzle & Dragons , a free-to-play hybrid puzzle/role-playing game optimized for Apple's iOS. The title expanded to Google's Android in September, and two months after that, GungHo exported the property to U.S. shores.
