Crisp kicks off Sports Illustrated mobile site

Mobile technology solutions and services provider Crisp Wireless announced an agreement with the Sports Illustrated Digital Group to launch a new SI-branded off-deck mobile website. The ad-supported, interactive SI Mobile promises long-form sports analysis and reporting from staff writers including Peter King, Tom Verducci, Jack McCallum and Michael Farber as well as related news, insider buzz and images produced exclusively for the mobile platform. In addition, a new live Game section enables users to check scores, standings, statistics and the schedules of their favorite teams. Crisp Wireless will partner with the Sports Illustrated ad sales department and mobile ad network affiliates to offer brands a variety of marketing opportunities on the mobile site.

Viva Vision debuts SI Swimsuit slideshow

Mobile entertainment provider Viva Vision announced a strategic partnership with the Sports Illustrated Group to create the SI Swimsuit slideshow, bringing to mobile bikini-clad supermodels culled from the pages of the magazine's annual swimsuit issue. Per terms of the deal, Viva Vision will enjoy full access to the Sports Illustrated photo library, presenting photos from this year's issue as well as vintage snapshots from past editions--the firm's proprietary slideshow platform enables subscribers to pause, rewind, fast-forward and save favorite images. Users may also vote on their favorites. The SI Swimsuit slideshow will launch in various markets later this summer.
