Volantis to launch mobile mags Cosmo, Seventeen

Volantis has struck a deal with publishing house Hearst to launch its magazines Cosmopolitan, Seventeen and CosmoGIRL for mobile phones. The service will use Volantis' Mobile Content Framework and will be available to Cingular and Sprint Nextel subscribers. The initial launch will include ringtones, wallpapers, horoscopes and "a variety of editorial content." The publications target women aged 12 to 34.
